Meridien Partners Group was formed in October 1998 in New York as an investment banking firm by experienced investment banking and industry professionals. Since its inception, Meridien Partners' primary focus has been on private equity, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and corporate finance. Meridien Partners’ target client base ranges from venture companies to large corporates and financial institutions that require local and global financial expertise. To capture the investment opportunities evolving from the growing technology industry in Korea, MVP Consulting Company ("MVP") was established in Seoul, Korea in September 1999 as a partnership firm by the partners of Meridien Partners as the majority partners. The partners at MVP have had experiences working in Korean corporates and branches of US financial institutions and US consulting firms located in Korea. MVP’s business focus is incubating venture companies, providing management and technology consulting, and restructuring financially distressed venture companies. MVP’s primary industry focus has been on information technology and entertainment oriented companies. To further enhance the business objectives of both Meridien Partners and MVP, MVP Capital was established as a venture capital company in Seoul, Korea in August 2000. The primary focus of MVP Capital’s investments are in the information technology and entertainment sector. Meridien Partners and its two affiliate firms, MVP and MVP Capital, integrate their various business disciplines and expertise for value maximization of potential opportunities stemming from the technology and entertainment sector.

Meridien Partners, MVP and MVP Capital consist of professionals with experiences ranging from corporate finance, private equity, consulting working for media/telecommunication companies and restructuring corporations.
